Ruby Sippers
As you sip this bubbly holiday cocktail, clink the glass, click your heels together, and say, "There's no place like home."
Makes: 6 drinks Total time:
| 1½ | cups fresh or frozen cranberries1 1/2 cups |
| 1 | cup cranberry juice cocktail1 cup |
| 1 | cup sugar1 cup |
| Rind and juice of 1 orange | |
| 1 | bottle sparkling white wine (such as Champagne or Italian Prosecco), chilled (750 ml.)1 bottle |

If desired, rub the rims of six champagne flutes with an orange wedge and dip in red sugar; set glasses aside.
Pulse cranberries and juice in a food processor until berries are coarsely chopped. Simmer mixture in a saucepan over medium heat with sugar, orange rind, and orange juice until syrupy, about 10 minutes. Strain syrup and cool to room temperature.
Pour 1–2 Tbsp. syrup into glasses, then top with sparkling wine. Garnish cocktails with whole cranberries.
