Ginger-Jasmine Tea Sushi Rice
Bursting with the tastes of ginger, garlic, and jasmine tea, this rice is the perfect side for any Asian entrée.

|2||2Tbsp. sliced scallions|
|1||1Tbsp. each minced fresh ginger and garlic|
|1⁄4||1/4tsp. red pepper flakes|
|1||1Tbsp. toasted sesame oil|
|1||1cup dry sushi rice|
|1 1⁄4||1 1/4cups water|
|2||2bags jasmine green tea|
|Salt, pepper, rice vinegar to taste|
Cook 2 Tbsp. scallions, ginger, garlic, and pepper flakes in oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat, 1 minute.
Stir in rice to coat with oil; cook 1 minute. Increase heat to high, add water and tea bags, and bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover rice and simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes. Remove pan from heat and let rice stand 10 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Season rice with salt, black pepper, and vinegar; garnish with scallions.
